Jarvis Landry Fires Agent; Signs New One In Hopes of Securing Deal!

The Browns traded for Deshaun Watson and brought in Amari Cooper, and they would love to have Jarvis Landry back on the roster, but it doesn’t appear that is going to happen…

CelebnSports247.com reports that earlier this week, Jarvis Landry ended his partnership with Klutch Sports agent Damarius Bilbo and signed with Roosevelt Barnes and Jovan Barnes of ISE Worldwide.

According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, Landry was hoping to land a contract with an annual salary of $20 million.

Florio wrote:

Landry, we’re told, had hoped to get a contract in the range of $20 million per year. Nearly two weeks into free agency, it won’t be easy to find that kind of money.

Landry, who is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2014, was entering the final year of his four-year, $3.5 million contract when Miami traded him to the Browns in 2018.

Cleveland later signed Landry to a five-year, $75M extension with $47M guaranteed. The Browns opted to release him after giving him permission to seek out a trade.
