CelebNSports247.com has learned that Pierre-Paul’s contract is worth up to $10.5 million!

Remember Jason Pierre-Paul returned to action last season despite a fireworks-related injury that left him with a mangled right hand.

Of Course, being the sociml media maven that he is, Pierre-Paul acknowledge the new deal on his Instagram account, saying:

“I would like to thank each and every organization that reached out to my agent during this process especially the Arizona Cardinals . It was hard to decide, but me and my family decided that it’s best for me to stay in New York, just being in the NFL is a privilege and I am honored. I am truly blessed to be in this position I am in today, thank you! Now with that said I have some unfinished business to take care of in New York!!! Giants FANS! Let’s get to work for the 2016 season because your boy is back and I am not going anywhere! #90PowerCircle #90IsBack”

SB Nation reports:

Pierre-Paul lost one finger and damaged two others on July 4, and though he played in eight games this past season, he had to wear a special glove and had difficulty grabbing quarterbacks and running backs trying to get past him. He was a sack artist prior to his injury and was on the cusp of a massive contract extension with the Giants or a lucrative deal on the open market.

A year ago, the Giants used the franchise tag on Pierre-Paul, but he didn’t sign the tender before his injury in hopes of getting a bigger contract. Before his return to the field, the pass rusher signed a one-year deal for the 2015 season.

Pierre-Paul made his season debut in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, recording one sack and 26 total tackles through the end of the regular season. He looked fast off the line and his pass-rushing moves were still good, but he missed tackles and wasn’t the same player who put up 12.5 sacks in 2014.

After the season, Pierre-Paul underwent another surgery on his hand to help with his grip. His recovery from the injury is ongoing.

He posted this video after leaving rehab, writing:

“How I’m feeling after rehab today- It only gets better from here.! #UDWJPP”
