As for, Julio Jones, the Atlanta Falcons wide receiver has been playing through the season with several injuries in his foot. Jones admits that the pain is severe, but he is all about football, so the surgery must wait.
Despite not making a full practice all season, Julio had no problem hitting the field and turning it up with beastly plays. He has proved himself a team player during the NFC Championship Game.
Here are the cleats Jones wore during the game:
Unfortunately, The Atlanta Falcons lost 34-28 to the New England Patriots, but the game made history in a few ways. It was the first Super Bowl to have a tie and go into overtime. And New England has now been in the Super Bowl 5 times and won 5 (2017, 2015, 2005, 2004, 2002). This could have been a first for the Atlanta Falcons, since they’ve never one a Super Bowl.
It makes no sense that the Falcons lost in the end since they played so well in the first half. It seemed like they were holding back to allow the Patriots to catch up and dominate.
