Now that everyone is kneeling since President 45’s statement last week, retired NBA star Kobe Bryant admitted if he was still playing, he’d kneel too.
Read on to see what Kobe Bryant had to say about the Colin Kaepernick movement that has taken full effect this year…
CelebNSports247.com got word that Kobe Bryant told The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, he would kneel in protest during the national anthem.
During a rapid-fire question-and-answer portion of the podcast the former Lakers star replied:
“Kneel.”
Then, when he was asked what he would say to President 45 if given the opportunity The Black Mamba said
“Focus on serving, not leading.”
It was also reported by TPS:
Following NBA Commissioner Adam Silver’s reiteration of the league rule stating all players must stand during the anthem, the Lakers decided to lock arms as a compromise ahead of their preseason games.
45 has been under fire in recent weeks after tweeting that NFL players who kneel should be “fired.” The reality star who is ruining the White House also rescinded his invitation to the NBA champion Warriors to visit the White House after Steph Curry expressed he wouldn’t attend.
Bottom line, Pres 45 needs to stay in his lane of politics and worry about that, not the NFL, NBA or MLB. He needs to recognize his words and actions are being watched by everyone.
