Hi-Tech filed to trademark the name “Black Mamba HYPERRUSH” for a line of ephedra-based diet pills in 2015, a year before Kobe Bryant filed to trademark his famous moniker.
According to reports, Bryant feels that Hi-Tech’s trademark “Black Mamba HYPERRUSH” would confuse people into thinking he endorses the pill. He is petitioning to have Hi-Tech’s trademark rejected

Kobe’s lawyer threatened that Bryant would do like Lil Wayne notoriously did when Weezy was questioned in a 2012 lawsuit involving the documentary The Carter.
