Is Lonzo Ball sacred of his Big Baller Brand father, LaVar Ball? Apparently so, and now his Laker teammates are tiring of his cowardness!
It’s undoubtedly important young players like Los Angeles Lakers Lonzo Ball moves forward. Read on…
According to Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report the team is literally winless (0-7) without Ball in the lineup.
Not only that, it is obvious to everyone with a working set of eyes how integral the rookie guard already is to the team’s pace of play and defense. But the criticism of Lonzo Ball on the floor might be overdone at some points. Though, it is relevant that the way his father might affect him and/or the Lakers is already in full swing.
Bleacher Report explains:
According to Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report, Lonzo’s teammates and the Lakers organization as a whole don’t exactly love the way he’s avoided contradicting his father’s critiques.
Luckily the Lakers front office, coaching staff and players have not turned on their rookie yet. But Lonzo needs to stand up for himself and let his dad take a backseat to his career. The only problem is that LaVar doesn’t seem like the type of dad to hear anyone but himself. He micro-manages all of his sons, and it appears they don’t think for themselves.
A league source told Lakers Nation said, they are not happy about with Lonzo’s father’s indiscretions.

The source said:
“They are frustrated that he can’t stand up to his dad, but they really like him.”
While no one with the Lakers are blaming Lonzo for his father’s impetuousness yet, the same GM predicted they will at some point:
“Whatever Lonzo’s ceiling is as a player, he’s going to have to divorce himself from his father if he’s going to reach it. That act is going to wear out. His teammates are going to get tired of it. This isn’t AAU basketball. Lonzo is going to have to cut him loose.”
Bottom line, Lonzo’s clock is ticking to grow some balls and step up as a man for himself. His father already lived his career and he NEEDS to wake up that its his sons time. LaVar Needs to #STFDSU!
So far, Lonzo’s teammates haven’t publically shamed him for his LaVar’s mouthy way yet, or at least not publicly.
