The news that Johnny Manziel suffers head injury is a bit shocking to hear, but its a damning development for a league that was hoping to provide fans a much-needed dose of football in the absence of the NFL.
As for, the former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel, he was knocked out of the game with a concussion on Saturday after he threw an interception and attempted to tackle former Ravens safety Will Hill.
The Memphis Express QB at least was able to run three times for 18 yards, completing two of his three passes and throwing a touchdown pass. Unfortunately, the TP was ultimately called back due to OPI.
After the injury the AAF reported:
