Here is another interesting theory coming from Mets Pitcher Jenrry Mejia Feels MLB Conspired to Kick Him Out of baseball!?!

Jenrry Mejia

Jenrry Mejia conspiracy theory is indeed interesting, but according to experts his conspiracy doesn’t have a lot of legs to stand on!

There’s no hard evidence, and it’s more of just Mejia putting these claims out there.

The former Mets pitcher Jenrry Mejia told the New York Times, via a translator:

“I felt there was a conspiracy against me!”

“I feel that they were trying to find something to bring me down in my career.”

According to Mejia, the second of his three failed tests for performance-enhancing drugs was inaccurate and MLB told him afterward that if he appealed “they will find a way to find a third positive.”

Mejia didn’t appeal and didn’t even offer up a comment at the time.

On Feb. 12, he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs again, resulting in his lifetime ban from MLB. He is the first player to receive a lifetime ban for PED use and joins Pete Rose as one of two living individuals on baseball’s permanently ineligible list. Mejia quickly claimed his innocence, speaking to Dominican sports journalist Hector Gomez.

He said, according to Gomez:

“It’s not like they [MLB] says…I’m sure I did not use anything.”

He also told Gomez he planned to appeal the third ruling but was told by the players’ union there were no grounds for an appeal. He told the Times that he felt the union should have done more to help him.

As for Mejia’s current allegations, MLB spokesman Pat Courtney told the Times:

“No one at MLB or representing MLB has met with Mejia regarding any of these drug violations.”

Currently, Mejia can apply for reinstatement in 2017, but he’s still unable to play again until 2018.

Luckily, The Mets will keep him under contract in case he is granted reinstatement.
