CelebNSports247.com has the latest on MMA fighter Mike Perry who suffered a brutally crushed and bloody nose from 27-year-old Brazilian welterweight MMA fighter Vicente Luque.
During the third round, Vicente Luque got Mike Perry good. Perry was held in a headlock, but he refused to give up and that is when his nose started gushing like an old faithful geyser.
Blood was going everywhere and the fight came to an end. In the end, Perry lost via split decision and Vicente Luque was announced the victor.
Luque had a 47.2% total strikes with and 46.9% significant strike count. Mike total strikes were 56.9% and significant percent was 49.9% – Basically, Vicente was better with his impact punches.

After the fight he underwent nose surgery:
Mike Perry underwent successful nose surgery in Uruguay early this AM, per his mgr Abraham Kawa. Kawa said he had some previous fractures in his nose that had to be taken care, as well, so the surgery was a bit lengthy. He’s expected to remain there for at least a couple days.
Mike posted this on social media from his hospital bed following the horrific bloody nose loss.
As for Mike’s loss, he drops to 13-5 (6-5 UFC) and true to his word, “Platinum” has been designed and submitted but never knocked out. We hope that will tide him over as his wounds heal … that and the $50,000 Fight of the Night performance bonus the UFC threw his way.
