The day before Aaron Hernandez took his own life in his prison cell, the fallen NFL star reached out to Mike Pouncey.

CelebNSports247.com has just received word that Miami Dolphins 3-time pro bowler Mike Pouncey, who refers to Aaron as a friend and brother, spoke to Hernandez.

Hernandez called Pouncy the day before he took his life.

Mike Pouncey has just released a statement that he and Aaron Hernandez spoke on Tuesday.

Pouncey, spoke with him several times while locked up, including the day before he passed away states:

“To my friend my brother! Through thick and thin right or wrong we never left each other’s side. Today my heart hurts as I got the worse news I could have imagined. It was just a day ago we shared our last convo.”

Hernandez friend concluded by saying:

“I will forever miss you and love you bro. we will meet again rest easy!”

Last week, Hernandez was found not guilty just last week on double-murder charges stemming from an incident in Boston back in 2012. Henandez was hoping to clear his name in which he did. However, he still had to serve a life sentence in prison without bail for the murder of his friend Odin Lloyd.

Apparently, Aaron reached out to Pouncey to say goodbye.
