Mike Tyson Breaks Silence On ‘Aggressive Fan’ on Fight!

If you watched the video of Mike Tyson punching fan on a flight from SFO to MIA you can see that the fan was harassing him and poking fun at him. It was like the fan continued to antagonize Tyson in hopes he would fall for his trap.

Unfortunately, Tyson fell right into his trap and exploded, turning around and punching the fan while the friend recorded the whole time…

CelebnSports247.com reports that Mike Tyson allegedly got physical with a fellow passenger on a flight, but the boxing icon claimed that the other person was the ‘aggressive’ one.

The alleged incident took place on Wednesday (Apr. 20) night, after Tyson boarded a Jet Blue flight in San Francisco.

Supposedly, Tyson took a selfie with the person sitting behind him. TMZ reports that the man “wouldn’t stop provoking” the boxer afterward. A San Francisco Police Dept. spokesperson told ET that officers assigned to its airport bureau were dispatched to a physical altercation on board an airplane. When authorities arrived, the officers” detained two subjects that were believed to be involved in the incident.”

Tyson says that the alleged victim provoked the confrontation. “Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat,” the rep said in a short statement to Entertainment Tonight.

After antagonizing Tyson trying to allegedly provoke him to punch him, the victim is now lawyering up.

The man, who has since been identified as Melvin Townsend III, has not yet sued Tyson for the alleged assault, Townsend’s lawyer recently revealed that he was hired by the victim as a result of the physical injuries his client sustained as well as the numerous media inquiries he has been receiving since the attack.

“Our client is a big Mike Tyson fan,” Matt Morgan, who is now representing Townsend, told TMZ during an interview on Friday. “When Mike Tyson boarded the plane, he became overly excited. At first, their interaction was cordial.” – Radar Online
