CelebNSports247.com reports Nate Diaz and reigning lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov were involved in an altercation at UFC 239.
Khabib Nurmagomedov (27-0 MMA, 11-0 UFC) and Nate Diaz (19-11 MMA, 14-9 UFC) are in Las Vegas for International Fight Week. UFC 239 is the cornerstone event, and abundance of athletes are in attendance at T-Mobile Arena, including the two notables.
Both MMA fighters were in attendance for the light-heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Thiago Santos.
How Nate Diaz + Khabib Nurmagomedov Almost Came to Blows:
The undefeated Russian lightweight king Nurmagomedov and brawler Diaz got into a heated exchange on the sidelines.
Diaz was walking behind Nurmagomedov trash-talking Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Nurmagomedov motioned for Diaz to walk on, before he stood up angrily, then gestured, prompting Diaz to step back towards him.
Nate immediately rushed over to Khabib who was ready to fight. Security staff was cageside at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Khabib’s father and trainer Abdulmanap posted the footage along with a caption.
He writes:
This guy is trying to get what he deserves without standing in line.

It’s no secret that Nate Diaz wants to fight Khabib.
The only problem is Khabib still wants a shot at Mayweather. Sorry, Conor did that fight first.
