Despite the incident in question, Charles Oakley maintained Tuesday he did “nothing wrong.”
To recap what went down this past February, Oakley is accused of punching a security guard in the face and throwing two other individuals off of him as they tried to intervene. Initially, Dolan banned the legendary baller from the Garden, where he played for 10 years, however, after a meeting with Adam Silver, the ban was lifted. According to Oakley, nothing really came of the meeting and the issue had not been resolved. So, is Oakley really welcomed back in the Garden?

Fast forward to now, The Post reports:
Charles Oakley told reporters outside the courthouse:
“I bought a ticket. I was sitting in my seat, and eight people walk up on you, and the next thing you know, you’re dragged out of the Garden. It’s so (disrespectful).”
Before his court date Charles Oakley, who was arraigned in a Manhattan court Tuesday on assault and other charges:
“I’m not nervous. I believe in myself. They said this, they said that. But 20,000 people were at the game. Millions of people saw what happened. There’s no reason for me to be nervous. If I’m wrong, I’ll take my punishment.
