Prior to the tweet thanking everyone for support, he revealed on Thursday, Feb. 28th he shared some new information about how he had been notified:
We have to say this, at least he is in good spirits about the cut. Some ballers would be going on rants and cussing out his organization. You can tell the pros from the amateurs. Mangold is a pro despite the cut.
The new free agent is worth $26 million after being paid $59.1 million from the New York Jets.
