CelebNSports247.com is back on it reporting the tea and this cup is piping hot.
Word is, the New England Patriots have been trying to land New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in the off-season.
Here’s the tea spill from BleacherReports:
Chris Simms told Pro Football Talk Live that the New York Giants were reportedly shopping receiver Odell Beckham Jr. last off-season, so the New England Patriots were aggressively pursuing a trade.
Simms also noted:
The Patriots’ interest caused the Giants to get “cold feet” on a potential deal and indicated the team didn’t want the negative repercussions of OBJ leaving the Giants and finding success with a Super Bowl contender. Though, this doesn’t take Odell off the trade table because a possible trade involving Beckham is ‘still is in play.’

Odell Beckham Jr. may have signed a five-year extension with the Giants last off-season, basically means nothing. The reason why is that his contract leaves open the possibility of a trade.
Adding Beckham would help strengthen a position of need for a team still hoping to win a title especially since Julian Edelman has proved his worth during the Super Bowl. The Patriots would be unstoppable, but the Giants are NOT about to let that happen now that they’ve weighed it out.
