The No. 1 inside linebacker prospect of his class, Reuben Foster, got nabbed by the San Francisco 49ers during the NFL Draft 1st Round. Reuben has a funny story on how it all went down.

CelebNSports247.com has learned via Reuben Foster that his girlfriend was on the phone with the New Orleans Saints when the call from the 49ers came in.

The former Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Reuben Foster quickly picked up the phone and suddenly found himself being a hot commodity towards the end of the round.

The 23-year-old had the New Orleans Saints on one line telling him that he was set to be taken with the 32nd pick.  There was only one problem, Reuben wanted to be a San Francisco 49ers. Ironically, the San Francisco 49ers had other ideas and traded up with the Seattle Seahawks to take him at 31.

And BLAM, the 49ers snatched Foster right from under the Saints nose, but that was all good with Reuben.
