CelebNSports247.com got word that NFL running back Ricky Williams was stopped while taking a walk in his hotel parking lot was released Friday.

Get this, Ricky Williams was in Tyler, Texas to attend the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award ceremony, instead he was racially profiled by white police. In the video below you can see that Willaims was asked to stand in front of a cop car before getting searched for weapons.

Here comes the poor excuse by police.

The officer then explained that police received a call about a man who suspiciously hoping fences and loitering in a nearby backyard.

The office insisted he knew what the former running back was doing:

“Here’s the thing. I know more than what you think I know. I know that you were in the back of somebody’s yard back there. Is there a reason you were in somebody’s yard?”

It didn’t matter Williams promised the officers that he hadn’t been in any backyards. Instead the cops claims that a construction worker they’d spoken to claimed the former NFLer tried to steal a a tape measure in a parking lot.

Are you kidding? That is the most pathetic load of shhh.
