CelebNSports247.com has learned that Trevone Boykin’s agent is sorely mistaken if he thinks his client has already cut a plea deal for his Alamo Bowl bar fight.
According to sources, Boykin’s agent, Drew Pittman, said the information which came straight from court documents filed on June 27th was incorrect!
Pittman explains that
“Trevone has already agreed to terms with the authorities on a lesser charge.”
Yeah that sounds great, but a rep for the Bexar County Criminal District Attorney’s Office who tells us there is NO DEAL set in stone with Boykin, at least not yet.
According to the court:
“We are still discussing the terms of a possible plea agreement with Mr. Boykin and his attorney.”
“Our Office does not release the details of any possible plea until it has been finalized and entered with the Court.”
Shortly after TMZ reported, Pittman ADMITTED he didn’t read the full TMZ Sports article before issuing a statement in which he called the report incorrect.
Oh wow, and this is the attorney for Trevone Boykin. A man who doesn’t read things thoroughly? He’s screwed, because ESPN reports:
Boykin has been charged with assault causing bodily injury, which is a misdemeanor in Texas. The charge could result in up to a year in jail, according to Bexar County online court records!
Boykin’s arraignment has been set for Aug. 1.
What do you think about Seattle Seahawks QB Trevone Boykin being Charged with Assault and his attorney not thoroughly reading the fine print?
