When is racism going to END?
According to Jackson, he says he heard the man talking about the gorilla that got shot in Cincinnati saying that the shot Serena.
Yes the white guy thought he was funny comparing the badass tennis pro Serena Williams to that of a Gorilla.
Jackson says the white guy quipped:
“They shot Serena? Serena got shot?”
Jackson says he debated whether or not to let it slide, but ultimately opted for a confrontation. Jackson took it into his own hands and walked up to the white guy and said:
“I straight up told old boy…’I heard you and it’s wrong.'”
Jackson says the man tried to apologize, but the damage was done and Jackson made it clear:
That “ain’t no joke!”
And for the record “Serena don’t look like a gorilla, and none of us do. With that being said, that shit ain’t cool; I had to address it. I’m far from being racist because I love everybody, but I felt like I had to say something. That shit ain’t cool and that’s what’s wrong with the world today. But you never know who’s listening.”
