CelebNSports247.com reports that it’s not over, it’s just beginning for Tua Tagovailoa, but first he has to have surgery and recover from his season-ending hip dislocation.
We reported earlier that Tua Tagovailoa suffered a season-ending injury dislocating his hip in Alabama’s 38–7 win over Mississippi State on Saturday after two defenders fell on top of him.
We previously reported that Tua is scheduled to have surgery on Monday. His teammates visited him in the hospital to support their QB.
Tua landed face down on the turf as his helmet came off as he rolled over in obvious pain. It as reported that he was unable to put any weight on the right side of his body after falling hard on his right hip. He was reportedly “screaming in pain” when being removed from the cart in the locker room area.
Despite the severity of his injury, the 21-year-old Heisman Trophy candidate is in good spirits dancing in his hospital bed to Kirk Franklin’s 2005 hit ‘Looking for You.’
