CelebnSports247.com reports Josh Jacobs, 22, was arrested after police responded to a single-vehicle crash near the McCarran Airport Connector and East Sunset Road at approximately 4:42 a.m.

What we’ve learned via Fox5Vegas is that LVMP Josh Jacobs suspected impairment, so he was taken to a local hospital because of minor injuries from the crash.

After being treated for his injuries Las Vegas Raiders Josh Jacobs was transported to the Clark County Detention Center, where he was booked for DUI, according to the LVMP public information officer.

Jacobs’ attorneys David Z. Chesnoff and Richard A. Schonfeld said in a statement they will plead NOT guilty:

No complaint has been filed against our client and there are no blood test results to support a suggestion of impairment. We intend to enter a not guilty plea on behalf of Mr. Jacobs if he is ever charged.

After learning of the arrest, the Las Vegas Raiders acknowledged the incident in a statement.

The team said:

The Raiders are aware of the situation involving Josh Jacobs. The organization takes these matters seriously and we have no further comment at this time.

Raiders coach Jon Gruden said he was limited in what he could say about the incident.

Gruden said:

We’re just aware of it. I will say that Josh is OK and I’m not at liberty to comment on it until I get more facts. But we do have word that Josh is OK and we are looking into the matter.

It has been reported that Jacobs has been released from custody and has a court appearance set for March 8.
