CelebnSports247.com reports, that Mayfield, a former No. 1 overall pick, is on the move from the Cleveland Browns months after the team acquired Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans.
After getting traded, Mayfield joined a terrible list nobody wants to part of.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, Mayfield is the third No. 1 overall pick in the Common Draft Era (since 1967) that lasted four or fewer seasons with the team that selected him.
The news broke on July 6th this week that Baker was finally traded to the Carolina Panthers, but he is no longer the starter QB.

For many Mayfield fans they all believe that it is embarrassing for the former Brown starter quarterback. But the only person who needs to worry about it is Baker himself.
He got his wish and that was to be traded, so apparently all that mattered to Baker was being traded out of Cleveland.
Mayfield showed up in Cleveland and gave the fan base hope for the future. He had 3,725 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in his rookie year.
He regressed in 2021 while fighting injuries and lost much of the shine he had, which led to the Browns trading for Watson.
Carolina will now have a competition for the starting quarterback job. Mayfield will battle Sam Darnold, who was taken in the same draft as Mayfield but by the New York Jets.
The Panthers are happy to have him, but now he has to fight for his QB starter position:
