What’s Up With Alvin Kamara Trade Potential?
The big question still standing is, “will Alvin Kamara be traded as he wants?” Continue on to see what’s being said about the 25-year-old running back for the New Orleans Saints, Alvin Kamara trade potential…
CelebNSports247.com reports that Josina Anderson has stated that the New Orleans Saints are open to trading running back Alvin Kamara.
It appears the Saints are taking Alvin Kamara’s holdout threat very seriously as they look for a potential trade partner for their star running back. This could be the Saints “negotiating via the media” and trying to leverage Kamara into returning, but Anderson tends to report from the perspective of the players, per PFF.
Here is what’ve learned per Ian Rapoport:
Spoke to #Saints RB Alvin Kamara and his agent and neither has asked for or demanded a trade. As of today, they thought they were actively negotiating and making progress on an extension. Kamara has never threatened to hold out and has been in the building every day.

The idea of trading Alvin Kamara hasn’t been ruled out (as @JosinaAnderson said). And there would be no shortage of interested teams. Kamara still wants to be a Saint long-term and the team’s priority to this point has been to make it happen. https://t.co/7rXLBdGr8g

After a wild few hours, all is quiet on the Alvin Kamara front. I’m told cooler heads have prevailed and the #Saints and Kamara’s camp will keep working on a deal. He’s expected to be at practice tomorrow.
