CelebNSports247.com reports that the WWE’s Wrestlemania will continue as planned, but without fans. Yes, that means empty seats.
In case you were unaware, the latest edition of SmackDown took place in an empty Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. So it makes sense why WrestleMania 36 will go on as planned, but SmackDown happened before the pandemic.
Huh?
The company released a statement on Monday:
In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.
Ric Flair adds:
Entertainment Is Needed More Than Ever Right Now! Coming To You Live Tomorrow…The Nature Boy Will Discuss And Answer All Questions On Any Topic. If You’re Going To Hear It Why Not Hear It From The GOAT!
Live On Instagram Tomorrow At 2pm Eastern Time! WOOOOO! pic.twitter.com/ICW7Id02Da— Ric Flair® (@RicFlairNatrBoy) March 16, 2020
