CelebNSports247.com reports that the WWE’s Wrestlemania will continue as planned, but without fans. Yes, that means empty seats.

In case you were unaware, the latest edition of SmackDown took place in an empty Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. So it makes sense why WrestleMania 36 will go on as planned, but SmackDown happened before the pandemic.

The company released a statement on Monday:

In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.

Ric Flair adds:

Meanwhile major American sports leagues like the NBA, MLB and NHL have shut down their games, while the UFC just canceled three upcoming events.

What are your thoughts about the WWE planning on having WrestleMania 36 without an audience?
