It’s getting down to the wire for the St. Louis Cardinals catcher, Yadier Molina, who is still waiting to see if the MLB team will give him an extension contract!
Here is what is going on with Yadier Molina and his last 48hrs to game day deadline awaiting an extension deal…
CelebNSports247.com has learned that all eyes remain on the latest, sure-fire Hall of Famer Yadier Molina who is awaiting an extension deal to wrap his last 4 years in the MLB wit the Cards.
On Friday, general manager John Mozeliak said he wouldn’t commit to a conclusion on contract talks with catcher Yadier Molina, although he did express optimism.
Mozeliak said before the big-league club concluded its two-day barnstorming tour:
“We’re certainly optimistic that something is going to get done. We’re still working through some things. We understand there’s a deadline. For me on this topic right now, I want to be careful of where I fall between being nostalgic and understanding that there is some work to be done. We certainly think it would be a great story.”
it may not be 4 more years like fans have been chanting, but according to reports, Molina and the Cardinals were finalizing a three-year extension worth between $55 million and $65 million.
