The Oakland A’s may have lost, but the team has one diehard fan by the name of John Spencer on the East coast. He was still repping the green, and white.

After the team learned that one of their fans were doused with beer for coming dressed for action and ready to cheer on the Atletic, he was NOT received well by Yankees fans.

Once the Yankees won, the A’s fan was assaulted for being a fan of the Athletics.

The A’s reached out via social media asking:

Do you know this A’s fan? We’d like to find him, hook him up with some new Oakland A’s gear that doesn’t smell like beer. Much love from Hero-Town, buddy.

Shortly after reaching out the found out his name, John Spencer, and they’re hooking him up:
