CelebNSports247.com reports that Yasiel Puig was tossed from the game after striking out looking in the top of the sixth inning.
As we all know, Yasiel Puig does NOT take rejection to well, which we have to admit makes him so sexy. But the tea is that Puig was PISSED about a strike call on an inside breaking ball on the first pitch that put him behind in the count.
The third pitch was a strike low and outside and caught him looking.
Of course, after the umpire made the bad call on the first pitch, Puig may have been expecting a makeup call but that didn’t happen. So when umpire Kerwin Danley made the third call he had no tolerance for Puig and immediately ejected him.
You have to see the look Yasiel Puig gave Danley while getting up in his face while cursing at him. You can see there were a few F-bombs thrown at umpire Kerwin Danley.
Reds manager David Bell eventually came out to talk with Danley, but Danley ejected him as well.
