Eric Reid and Kenny BLAST NFL; Colin Kaepernick's Workout Was "Media Circus"

Following the Carolina Panthers game Eric Reid took a minute to speak about how the NFL made a “media circus” of Colin Kaepernick’s workout.

This is why Kaepernick changed locations. Kaep wanted to control his own narrative. Now the NFL, who made a “media circus” of the workout, are being put on blast by Eric Reid and Kenny Stills…

CelebNSports247.com previously reported that the NFL informed teams Tuesday that it would hold a private workout for Kaepernick.

Then, the NFL coaches flipped the script and started giving poor excuses on why they would NOT be attending Kaepernick’s workout. We felt that it was all media hype to act like they care, and guess what we’re NOT the only ones thinking that.

The Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills also felt the same as we did about the media making a circus of the Kaepernick workout.

Stills had this to say to USA TODAY Sports:

It’s all hearsay, but if it’s true about what was put in the waiver, trying to keep Colin from taking further legal action on the league and things like that, then it was exactly what we thought..which is just a media circus and the league trying to cover their tail, as usual.

In addition to Stills, Kaepernick’s good friend and former teammate Eric Reed who plays for the Carolina Panthers told this to the press after the Panthers game. The Pro Bowl safety Eric Reid campaigned for Carolina to sign Colin Kaepernick saying:

I THINK WE COULD USE COLIN’S HELP. I THINK EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE COULD USE COLIN’S HELP. I WOULD DEFINITELY BE EXCITED IF HE WERE HERE!

He added:

The NFL wanted to control the narrative by not letting independent media into the workout to document the workout. They wouldn’t even tell him who was going to run his routes for him. They wouldn’t even give him a script for the workout. Is Colin supposed to trust the organization that’s blackballing him? He’s not that naive.

Stills echoed that sentiment.

It’s hard for there to be trust…when the trust has been broken before!

That also includes on Sunday where the team lost to the Atlanta Falcons 29-3 at home.

After seeing how the NFL uses their refs to control the outcome of the games and how refs change the call from tails to heads. Its no surprise that Kaepernick is untrusting of the NFL.

What do you think about Eric Reid and Kenny Stills standing up for Kaepernick?
