CelebNSports247.com reports that Marlins Pitcher Jose Urena tests positive as it appears to have its first in-season outbreak.
According to CBS Miami:
The Marlins reportedly have four players testing positive, and all are major contributors on the team.
The news first started to leak when Sunday’s starting pitcher Jose Urena was pulled from lineup before the team’s game against the Phillies. The other three players are starting catcher Jorge Alfaro, first baseman Garrett Cooper and outfielder Harold Ramirez, according to baseball writer Robert Murray.
Craig Mish, a frequent guest on our sport shows, reports the players who tested positive will likely have to quarantine in their Philadelphia hotel for two weeks.
The club will stay in Philadelphia overnight in case there are any other positive cases on the team.
It is being reported that the players who have tested positive will have to remain in their hotel rooms for the next 14-days.
We hope that is all of the players since COVID-19 tends to spread quickly in groups.
A test study has shown that people who are blood type A+ are more susceptible to catching the Coronavirus.
