CelebNSports247.com reports that UFC fighter Alistair Overeem bloody lip was one of the nastiest injuries in a while.

He entered UFC DC with the hopes of extending his win streak and getting back to the path of title contention.

Alistair Overeem suffered disgusting bloody lip injury late fifth-round TKO loss to undefeated Jairzinho Rozenstruik leaving him with one nasty ripped open lip gushing blood.

Talk about painful and gross…OMG!

‘The Demolition Man’ was actually ahead in the scorecards and would’ve won by decision if the time expired. But after absorbing a right hand that dropped him and subsequently cut his lip in half, referee Dan Miragliotta decided to call the fight at 4:56 of the round fight and award Rozenstruik a TKO victory. – BloodyElbow

Despite the bloody ripped lip, Overeem tweeted out his post-fight reaction, slightly disputing Miragliotta’s stoppage call.
