CelebNSports247.com reports that Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon had a huge day as he racked up 162 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns, but he didn’t know he was gonna hit a ref with his helmet.
No, Joe was all about helping his team as they head into the offseason on a positive note.
But then this happened when Joe Mixon tried to celebrate by throwing his helmet. An unsuspecting ref running behind Mixon felt the wrath of yet another helmet.
Joe went to throw his helmet and instead hit a ref in the legs and made him fall to the ground.

Mixon took to social media to make a public apology for accidentally taking out a ref with his helmet. It was purely a mistake, but yet classic since there has been so many helmet dilemmas this season. Who could forget Antonio Brown’s helmet gate or Myles Garrett Helmet attack? This season it has been the year of the helmet.
