CelebNSports247.com reports that Ross, a backup defensive lineman for the Cowboys, who has not played in a game this season was arrested.
Apparently, Daniel Ross has too much time on his hands and he is now facing some serious charges.
Here is what the Dallas Morning News said about what happened:
Dallas Cowboys lineman Daniel Ross was arrested Wednesday morning after Frisco police found him with marijuana and a gun during a traffic stop, authorities said.
Ross, 26, faces charges of possession of marijuana and unlawfully carrying a weapon, Frisco police spokesman Evan Mattei said. He did not disclose details about the traffic stop that led to the arrest.
In September, he was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. The backup lineman initially joined the Cowboys in 2017 after being signed off the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad. The move filled an empty roster spot, which was vacated by running back Ezekiel Elliott’s suspension.
Ross was placed on the injured reserve with a shoulder issue back in late August.
NOTE: All NFL players who are arrested are subject to the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
