Eminem Takes Knee For Colin Kaepernick During Half Time Show!

If you didn’t catch it, rapper Eminem paid respect to everything that Colin Kaepernick did for those who didn’t have a voice during his final season with the San Francisco 49ers…

CelebnMusic247.com and CelebnSports247.com report that it all went down during the Dr. Dre Snoop Dogg Super Bowl half time show featuring Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and special surprise guest 50 cent.

First Dre and Snoop surprised fans with 50 Cent performing upside down singing his debut hit “In Da Club.” Then the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige dazzled her fans with a melody of two songs “Family Affair” and “No More Drama” on a set resembling the streets of Compton.

Next, Kendrick Lamar followed with “m.A.A.d city” and “Alright.”

And finally, Eminem appeared to perform “Lose Yourself” with Anderson. Paak on the drums. During his performance Em made it a point to take to one knee paying homage to all the work Colin Kaepernick did. Kaep was black balled from the NFL after speaking out for police brutality among people of color. Something that Trump criticized and got NFL owners to turn their back on Kaepernick.

Here’s the tea on what was NIXED by the NFL, but Dre and Em did it anyway:

Dr. Dre has promised some “big surprises” during the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show, but whatever does happen won’t be done without the approval of the NFL. As Eriq Gardner of Puck reports, the league has already nixed several elements of the show, including plans by Eminem to take a knee in solidarity of Colin Kaepernick.

The NFL also rejected an outfit that Snoop Dogg was set to wear due to possible gang ties, and flagged Dr. Dre’s lyric from “Still D.R.E.,” which includes the line “still not loving police.”

According to Gardner, the NFL wants to avoid the Super Bowl becoming a “divisive culture war moment,” but a source close to Dre told Gardner that he was being “disgustingly censored.”

Dr. Dre is putting up his own money — upwards of $7 millions worth — to put on this year’s NFL Halftime Show. He’ll be joined on stage by close associates Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige.

No word on what else the NFL either attempted to cut or they actually cut. – BOS

Since then, Kaepernick has been quite successful with his movement, something the NFL can’t stop.

Wrapping up the halftime was Dr. Dre as he made another incredible transition, this time by playing the piano, as he reappeared with Snoop Dogg to perform “Still D.R.E.”
