CelebNSports247.com has learned that the third-year forward suffered a separated right shoulder during Charlotte’s victory over the Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis!

The team announced the news regarding Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, who is going to miss some more time on the court.

Kidd-Gilchrist was taken to a local hospital to have his shoulder put back into its socket.

How will Michael Kidd-Gilchrist dislocated right shoulder affect him?

SportingNews reports, the injury is not considered as severe as his preseason injury, when the 22-year-old tore his right labrum against the Magic on Oct. 3. That injury was supposed to keep him out six months, but he returned on Jan. 29, two months ahead of schedule.

Gilchrist signed a four-year, $52 million contract extension in August, after he averaged a career-high 10.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 55 games last season.

The 6-7 forward is averaging 13.5 points and seven rebounds in six games this season and had eight points before leaving Wednesday night’s game.
