Kenny Stills makes it clear on social media and for all to see, that he will still kneel during the National Anthem during the 2019/20 NFL season.
On Tuesday Colin Kaepernick revealed what initally sparked the anthem protest which Kenny Stills and Eric Reid still support while active in the NFL…
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills shared on Instagram on Sunday that he will “continue to take a knee to bring awareness to the issues of police brutality, systematic oppression and social injustice in our country — that is action.”
Despite the multiple death threats that he has received, Kenny Stills will “continue the work I’ve been doing alongside the protest… Educating myself and others on social issues.”
Stills is a major “advocate for mental wellness” and loves “mentoring youth and fostering positive action in our community.”
Not only that, but the 27-yer-old WR has been “working with law enforcement to stress safety and accountability in our communities.” And as he puts it, he has been “ultimately, doing my best to use sports as a platform to bring people together.”
Kenny Stills believes “there is a great opportunity for this deal to have an impact and that’s the goal. I will say that I don’t respect the way either party went about it.”
He will continue to state that “we can all work towards social justice without disparaging one another.” Not only that, he hopes “that Roc Nation recognizes this and shifts their stance on people using different methods to work towards what is hopefully a shared goal.”
As we have stated before, Kaepernick’s kneeling movement is deeper than kneeling and if Jay-Z was trullysupportive of Kaepernick then he would have known what really sparked Colin to kneel in the first place. What organization has been a major part of it and how, Kenny Stills is a mentor for youth. The Roc Nation NFL partnership is NOT what Jay claims it to be. It’s a money move, not anything but that. This is why he blasted Jay’s shady moves. Colin has been a major supporter of Stills since.
