Kevin Durant Suffers Achilles Injury in Game 5; Bob Myers "Blame Me"

Warriors President of Basketball Operations Bob Myers held back tears as he told reporters that Kevin Durant had suffered an Achilles injury.

CelebNSports247.com reports that it was too soon for the Golden State Warriors to clear Durant to play in game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Kevin Durant was out on a calf injury for 33 days and was in no way ok to play, but they cleared him anyway. He ended up injuring himself once again. The Warriors’ won 106-105 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Monday night in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

However, Warriors President of Basketball Operations Bob Myers said:

He “didn’t believe there’s anybody to blame” but “if you have to, blame me,” then do so.
