Kyrie Irving Doesn't Care About His Terrible Shooting Statistics

Kyrie Irving struggled from the field in the Celtics’ 113-101 defeat in Game 4 against the Bucks on Monday, making just 7-of-22 attempts as Milwaukee took a 3–1 series lead.

The only problem is that Kyrie Irving doesn’t care about his terrible shooting statistics. See what he said during a press conference…

CelebNSports247.com reports Irving has struggled mightily against the Bucks. He’s shooting just 36.9% from the field in the series, down from his 48.7% mark in the regular season.

Why Kyrie Irving doesn’t care about his terrible shooting statistics.

Kyrie Irving told reporters during the press conference:

I’m trying to do it all. For me, 22 shots, I should have shot 30.

Irving basically bluntly responded with a “Who Cares” when asked about his poor shooting over the last three games.

Jalen Rose weighs in on Kyrie Irving:

Meanwhile, Jalen Rose, commenting the Celtics going down 3-1 to the Bucks, told his ESPN colleagues Tuesday morning that Kyrie Irving is likely to leave Boston behind.

Kyrie said:

When you go 7-for-22, you can’t turn around and go 8-for-22. You’ve got to get off the ball. And then when you go to the press conference and say I should’ve (taken) 30 shots, what do you think the other 14 guys in the car going home are saying? ‘We can’t wait ’til this guy gets out of here. We’ll help him pack his bags.’

NetsDaily reports:

Irving has a $21,329,752 player option he can exercise in June. Although he told thousands of season ticket-holders before the season, “If you guys will have me back, I plan on re-signing here next year,” he walked that commitment back a little in February.

“At the end of the day I spent the last eight years trying to do what everybody else wanted me to do in terms of making my decisions and trying to validate through the media, through other personnel, managers, anybody in this business.”

Now, Ceasars in Las Vegas suggests the 27-year-old’s next destination is likely Brooklyn, according to Bleacher Report.
