CelebNSports247.com has the following details on Lamar Odom who is continuing on his road to recovery after his almost fatal end in Las Vegas.

We previously reported, the 36-year-old former basketball player was hospitalized in October in Las Vegas after suffering a drug overdose where he was found unconscious on the floor of his VIP room at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch in Crystal, Nev., last Oct. 13. He has come a long was from the days when reports claimed his heart was failing.

Lamar Odom is on phase 2 of his recovery now that he can walk again. The road to a healthy Odom will take time, but the next phase will be at a specialized rehabilitation center in Los Angeles. He was caught on film by E! News, (who was probably tipped off by Khloe) as Lamar was driving off to the private rehabilitation facility on Wednesday.

While Odom was in the hospital:

“drugs were found in his system” and he suffered a “loss of oxygen” that resulted in a stroke caused by a blood clot that stopped blood flow to his brain.

Odom’s wife, Khloé Kardashian, said Wednesday that the former LA Laker is doing well in his recovery.

“He’s doing amazing, and I’m so proud of the strength that he has had to fight that battle,” said Kardashian, who plays herself on TV.

While discussing Odom’s health, Khloé also mentioned her new talk show “Kocktails With Khloe,” which will be filmed in a replica of Kardashian’s house and will feature celebrity guests and dinner parties. She has kept Odom fans posted with updates on his progress.
