CelebNSports247.com reports that The coronavirus has just hit the Brooklyn Nets … HARD.
The team announced FOUR players (one being Kevin Durant) have tested positive for COVID-19 — which is essentially a THIRD of the roster!
So far the team has NOT released the names of the players infected with COVID-19, so it took some time to incubate.
Before today, no one on the team had been diagnosed with coronavirus.
The team revealed that one of the players is “exhibiting symptoms while three are asymptomatic.”
In a statement by the Nets they said:
All four players are presently isolated and under the care of team physicians.
The organization is currently notifying anyone who has had known contact with the players, including recent opponents, and is working closely with state and local health authorities on reporting.
All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff. The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible.
Following the Nets statement Kevin Durant came forward to reveal that he was one of the four who tested positive for COVID-19.
The NBA superstar told The Athletic he’s feeling fin,but he wants everyone to LISTEN:
