CelebNSports247.com reports that North Carolina Panthers star quarterback, Cam Newton is recovering following his lisfranc injury.
A lisfranc injury is an injury of the foot in which one or more of the metatarsal bones are displaced from the tarsus.
Cam Newton recently went under the knife to repair a lisfranc injury on his left foot on Monday [Dec. 9th].
Three days later, on Thursday, [Dec. 12th], the Panthers QB took to Instagram to share with fans he is currently recovering after a successful operation in his hometown of Atlanta.
Cam says:
GOD THANK YOU FOR A SUCCESSFUL SURGERY. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes. It’s been a hectic last couple of night BUT THE BEST NEWS IS KNOWING you ONLY can go up from here.
