Rams Push To Complete Aaron Donald Deal!

According to reports, now that the Los Angeles Rams have extending their deal with their Super Bowl winning quarterback Matthew Stafford, its time to focus on Aaron Donald.

The Rams and Matthew Stafford finalized a four-year, $160 million extension that includes $135 million guaranteed that should allow the veteran QB to finish his career in Los Angeles, reports Adam Schefter.

Schefter reports:

This has been in the works for weeks, with the two sides preparing before Super Bowl LVI to hammer out an extension in the offseason. Stafford is taking less than he could have to help build another championship squad, Rapoport noted. The restructure should clear close to $10 million off the Rams’ 2022 salary cap, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported.

CelebnSports247.com has received word via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN that the Rams are now going to push to complete Aaron Donald’s deal.

Fowler notes that progress has been made on that front, which will hopefully mean Aaron Donald is back in the mix for not only 2022, but for several years to come.

We previously reported that his new deal with the Rams will make him the highest paid defensive tackle in the NFL.

Donald recently considered retiring this offseason after winning Super Bowl LVI, but with a contract extension on the horizon, Donald is on track to return for another championship run next season.

Rams want more from the power house hunk Aaron Donald, to us is the “perfect man.”
