San Francisco Giants Are 1st MLB Team to Play in Pride Uniform!
The Giants announced this week that they would become the first team in Major League Baseball to play in Pride uniform.
The Pride uniform will take place when The Giants go head to head with the Chicago Cubs on Saturday.
#CelebnSports247 #love the fact that the @SFGiants are repping #Pride2021 for the @MLB – more teams should follow. Now we need a #BlackHistoryMonth uniform. #PrideMonth2021 #GiantsPride #PRIDE #PrideSF https://t.co/GXjB5on6Bi

CelebnSports247.com reports Pride month is truly taking shape this year since the San Francisco Giants
San Francisco Giants manager Gabe Kapler announced on Tuesday:
I am very proud that the San Francisco Giants are taking this step. Very proud to be part of it, looking forward to the impact and the support that we can provide for the LGBTQ+ community.

Why is The San Francisco Giants leading as the pioneer wearing a Pride uniform for Pride Month?
Well, that is simple. It’s time for a little education.
San Francisco is one of the largest and most prominent LGBT communities in the United States and is one of the most important in the history of American LGBT rights and activism alongside New York City. The city itself has, among its many nicknames, the nicknames “gay capital of the world” and “the gay Mecca”, and has been described as “the original ‘gay-friendly city’.” This makes a lot of sense for The Giants to be leading in the MLB since they are repping the city best known as “the original ‘gay-friendly city‘” in the world.
Giants fans took to social media with an array of reactions, mostly ignorant regarding the Pride uniform:
Your team owner donates to a lot of politicians across the country who are not supportive of lgbt causes, some of whom support Qanon insurrectionists. You can’t waive a rainbow flag if your boss is supporting efforts against the people you are allying with @SFGiants https://t.co/hMP6foMhk8

Recognize them for what, are they not people, like everyone? Honestly, should I walk around with a straight identifier? Educate me please.
