Read on for more details on the Arizona Cardinals adding 12 undrafted rookies to the 2019 class…
CelebNSports247.com has learned that the St. Louis Cardinals are doing something a little different for their 2019 roster.
According to AZCardinals.com, the Arizona Cardinals are moving forward with 12 more rookies, including Arkansas cornerback Ryan Pulley, Murray State quarterback Drew Anderson, and Ohio State linebacker Dante Booker.
Also joining the roster will be Pittsburgh linebacker James Folston Jr., whose father played 19 games for the Cardinals in 1999 and 2000.
James Folston Jr. is a legacy for the Cardinals so he was a shoe-in so to speak. With that said, the Cardinals already have 84 players for their 90-man offseason roster, and that’s before the undrafted class signs their deals next week.
One draft pick, Alabama safety Deionte Thompson, is already posing a problem. See, Thompson stock appears to have a dropped for a reason. He has a degenerative knee condition which may end his career as quick as he was drafted.
The Arizona Cardinals selected 11 players in the 2019 NFL draft last week. They have added another 12 rookies that were not drafted. This means we will be seeing some Cards getting the boot shortly.
Meanwhile, the Cards will hold their rookie minicamp May 10-12th.
