CelebnSports247.com reports for the past month, rumors have circulated that the Atlanta Falcons are interested in parting ways with star wide receiver Julio Jones.

According to Jeff Schultz of The Athletic reported that the Falcons indeed “would like to trade” Jones to free up cap space. The Atlanta Falcons would want something decent in return for the seven-time Pro Bowl pass-catcher.

Well, it appears that the Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins is willing to rework his contract, he’s all for it.

Hopkins signed a two-year, $54.5 million extension last September, and his 2021 cap hit is $12.5 million.

Jones signed a three-year, $66 million contract extension in 2019, and his 2021 cap hit is $23,050 million.

The Falcons themselves are in salary cap hell, with just $410,351 in total cap space, per OverTheCap.com.
