CelebNSports247.com reports that DeMarcus Cousins has just been waiting it out in hopes of being signed and on the last day of the free-agent signings.
The Lakers are continuing to add depth to their roster, this time at the center position, with DeMarcus Cousins.
We’re happy Cousins got signed, but damn it’s like being the last one picked in dodgeball or something.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported the news first saying:

Cousins and JaVale McGee ( who the Lakers doubled down on), another former Warriors center, are now the two fives on the roster.
The former Kentucky Wildcat was originally expected to receive a maximum contract in the summer of 2018 before he tore his Achilles while with the New Orleans Pelicans. Cousins sat out the first half of last season rehabbing in Golden State, he ended up playing 30 games to close out the year. But ended up injuring his calf during Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Things have not been on his side and his injuries have made him more on the last choice picks.
