Now after delays due to the COVID pandemic, Five-time world champion Floyd Mayweather will return to the ring to face YouTube sensation-turned-boxer Logan Paul at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami according to CelebnSports247.com

The Mayweather-Paul Fight will be HUGE and it will be happening on June 6 via Showtime pay-per-view and Fanmio, it was announced Tuesday night.

Mayweather wrote on Instagram:

Logan Paul and I are going to fight at Hard Rock Stadium. Mayweather Promotions, Fanmio and Showtime will team up to give you an epic event.

Logan will definitely be trying to make a name for himself trying to KO Mayweather, so we hope Floyd is ready.

If you recall, the fight was originally scheduled for February but was postponed indefinitely until Tuesday’s announcement.

The announcement didn’t specify how many rounds they will fight or what size gloves they will use. Additional details on the rules of the fight and the undercard will be released soon, according to Fanmio, a platform that connects fans with celebrities through online experiences.

Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs), 44, retired after defeating MMA star Conor McGregor by 10th-round TKO in a boxing match in 2017 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Mayweather has won titles as a junior lightweight, lightweight, junior welterweight, welterweight, and junior middleweight.

Logan Paul (0-1 0 KOs), 26, is the older brother of Jake Paul, who recently defeated Ben Askren by first-round knockout.

Logan Paul lost a split decision to fellow YouTube star KSI, whose real name is Olajide William Olatunji, in November 2019.

Floyd is looking really good these days, take a look:

Remember what Mayweather said about Logan’s brother Jake Paul?

Floyd posted this earlier this year:

This year I will focus on several exhibitions. I will have an exhibition in Tokyo, Japan again. Of course the one with Logan Paul and I; and if Jake Paul can get past his next opponent Ben Askren, I will have an exhibition with him as well.

So that tells us the fight with Logan is an exhibition fight.
